You are looking to marry, and you trust us with an address so that we can let you know. It is little, but it is not nothing. Here is exactly what we do with it.
In short
- We collect three things: your email address, your gender, your country. Nothing else.
- They serve one purpose: telling you when a season opens near you.
- No cookies, no audience measurement, no advertising, nothing loaded from a third party.
- Your data stays in the European Union, and is neither sold, rented nor shared.
- You withdraw in one click, through the link in every email we send. Otherwise, after 24 months, we erase everything.
What this page covers
This page covers the site kismain.com, and it alone.
The site does one thing with personal data: it keeps a waiting list of people who want to be told when a season opens in their country. The service itself, app.kismain.fr, where seasons take place, processes far more data (conversations, an identity check, a trusted guardian, declared beliefs) and has its own, longer policy, public and readable without an account: app.kismain.fr/confidentialite (in French).
Who is responsible
The data controller is HAIDARA Cherif Ousmane, sole trader under French law, who publishes Kismain under the trading name Kisma DGlabs.

Kismain has not appointed a data protection officer. The controller himself reads and handles your requests, at the address above.
The waiting list
Three pieces of information, a single purpose, and your consent as the only legal basis.

A two-step sign-up
After the form, you receive an email containing a link. Until you have clicked that link, your address is never used. This second step proves that the address is yours, and that no one signed you up in your place.
You are under no obligation to sign up. Without signing up, you can read the whole site; you will simply not be told about openings.
A precaution about the nature of this list
Kismain is designed for the Muslim community. Being on its waiting list may therefore suggest a religious belief, even though we ask you no question about it.
European law gives particular protection to information that reveals, even indirectly, religious beliefs (article 9 of the GDPR). We draw three consequences from this:
- we only sign you up with your explicit consent, given through a box you tick yourself and which is never pre-ticked;
- this list is accessible only to the controller, behind authentication;
- it is never passed on to anyone, nor cross-referenced with another file, nor used for advertising.
The service is open to any adult: a sign-up says nothing, in itself, about what you believe. We prefer, however, to treat this list as if it did.
What we do not collect
This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from a third party. There is therefore no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

One clarification, out of honesty: like any web server, our host's server keeps a technical log of connections (IP address, date, page requested), needed for the security of the site. We do not consult it to identify you and never match it with the waiting list.
Who has access
One person reads your data: the controller. One provider stores it: our host.

Your data is neither sold, rented, exchanged, nor passed on to a partner, an advertiser or another person on the list. It could only be disclosed to an authority if the law obliges us to, upon a lawful request.
Where your data is kept
In France, on servers located in the European Union. No data described on this page leaves the European Union.
How long we keep it

Your rights, and how to exercise them
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time: one email is enough.
To withdraw, click the link at the bottom of any of our emails: your address is removed at once, without justification. For any other request, write to contact@kismain.fr. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm the request from the address concerned, to be sure it comes from you.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Changes to this page
If what we do with your data changes, this page changes first, and its date with it.
A change that affects what you consented to would be put to you again, by email, before it applies. Silence would never count as agreement.
