Matrimonial agency · designed for the Muslim community
Marriage, without two years of apps.
Kismain brings together single people from the same region who want to marry, for fifty days at most. Each woman's wali, the person of trust she chooses, is there from the very first message. At the end, everyone decides.
A question first? A person answers you, within 48 hours.
- What is it?

- In the app, from home. You meet in person. Starting in France, then city by city.
- How long?
- Fifty days at most, with a decision date known from day one.
- Who will you meet?
- Single people from the season's region, and others from elsewhere, ready to settle there if the match succeeds.
What we see
Getting married in Europe without stepping outside the tradition is often slow and lonely.
-
Dating apps
Months of conversations that stop without a word. No planned end, and no one to watch over the exchange.
-
Introductions through family
One person at a time, sometimes across the country or back home. Years go by between two meetings.
-
Alone with the search
A convert with no Muslim family, parents who stayed back home, a circle that knows no one: many search without support.
Kismain brings together what is missing: serious people near you, the wali in the conversation, and a date to decide.
How it works
A season, from application to meeting.
A season is a closed group of single people from the same region. Everyone starts on the same day and decides on a date known in advance. Here is what happens, in order.
The screens below are those of the app in French: the English version follows the first season.
- Before the season
You apply.
You write your profile: who you are, what you are looking for. Before the season opens, your identity is checked by a specialist provider, as is the wali's. No identity document reaches us.
In the app
- Day 1
The group opens.
Everyone starts on the same day. No one joins halfway, and everyone knows where they stand: day 3 of 50, for example.
In the app
- Two rounds of choices
You choose.
You read every profile compatible with your criteria, with no sorting or ranking, and you choose based on what the person wrote. Up to three choices per round, in private. First names and photos come later.
In the app
- Once you both choose
You write to each other.
A conversation opens only if you have chosen each other. You discover your first names. The woman's wali reads the conversation from the first message.
In the app
- Then
You talk, then you see each other.
A call, without giving your number. Then a live video call, with the wali. Faces are revealed there, never before.
In the app
- On the decision date
You decide.
On the date known from day one: carry on, take a break, or stop. Three answers of equal worth.
In the app - If you carry on
Meeting in person.
You meet in person, accompanied, in the season's region. Before or after, if you both wish, up to three relatives on each side can get to know each other by video call. What follows belongs to you and your families.
In person
Fifty days at most, from day one to the decision.

Who we are
Kismain was born from one sentence.
My name is Ousmane. With my wife, we created Kismain because, around us, serious people who were ready to marry could not manage it without stepping outside the framework of the Muslim tradition.
- First
I helped someone close to me in her search, several times. Without success. Caught up in my own obligations, I ended up stepping back, and I advised her to be patient.
- Her answer
“You don't know what it is like to be alone, and to have no one to share with.”
- The years that followed
That sentence affected me deeply. The seed was planted. With my wife, we let this project mature quietly, over several years.
- Today
By the grace of Allah, Kismain is now seeing the light of day. It is the framework we would have wanted to offer her: serious people near her, her wali at her side, and a date to decide.
Kismain is a blend of our two children's first names. And, al-hamdulillah, the name also echoes in Arabic. You can hear qismayn, “two parts”, like their two names brought together. You can also hear the root q-s-m, which carries the idea of sharing, and from which comes qisma: sharing, and also one's lot, one's destiny.
If her sentence speaks to you, Kismain was made for you.
